JGCC Clubhouse
The Women’s Network of Jacksonville Golf & Country Club was created in 1992 by a small group of women who wanted to make their new neighbors feel welcome. Women from diverse backgrounds were moving to JGCC from all over the world, and these women knew that starting over in a new country, state, or city was a daunting experience, and they wanted to make it as easy as possible. We are open to all women JGCC residents or Club members who are non-residents. We have over 200 members and are a strong and essential part of this neighborhood. We take our role in the community seriously while having fun!
We are a non-profit 501(c)(7) organization, separate from the Property Owners Association and the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club. We have great relationships with both and value those partnerships as we work on events and projects that make JGCC a better place to live.
We have various individual social clubs for our members - Book Club, Let’s Do Lunch Club, Culinary Club, Mom’s Club, Reel Club, the TGIF Club, and the Vintage Club. In addition to our Club’s monthly events, we regularly have activities for all our members, including dinners, luncheons, happy hours, and field trips to different venues in Jacksonville.
Within our JGCC community, we have contributed many worthwhile projects. We sponsored the initiative for the Little Free Libraries, which continue to provide books to our neighbors and those visiting our community. We donated the fountain in the lake between the 9th and 18th holes on the golf course, the flag poles in front of the Club, and other enhancements to our neighborhood.
Proceeds from our annual Luminarias Evening sales go back into our neighborhood and have been used most recently for increased security and updated playground equipment at Woodland Parke.
We are proud to continue the annual Joellen Principe Toy & Book Drive benefiting Wolfson Children’s Hospital, as it has been a perennial neighborhood event every December. We had our biggest donation ever this year with 464 toys and books!
Over the past 30+ years, the Women’s Network has contributed in countless ways to this community and the greater Jacksonville area.
Please visit the application page if you want to join our wonderful organization and make lifelong friends. Thank you!
